1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website (the "Site"), which is operated by Intrasia Wealth Limited ("Intrasia Wealth", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in Mauritius with its principal address at The Strand 3, Beau Plan, Pamplemousses, Mauritius.
Intrasia Wealth Limited is licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius as an Investment Adviser (Unrestricted), licence IX24200006, and is an authorised Financial Services Provider in South Africa, FSP 54955, regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority.
By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to the Site only. If you become a client, our services are governed by the client agreement you sign, which prevails over these terms in the event of any conflict.
2. Information only, not advice
The content of the Site is general information about Intrasia Wealth, its services and the subjects it covers. It does not take account of your objectives, financial situation or needs, and it is not investment, tax, legal or other professional advice or a personal recommendation. You should not act on it without taking advice that is specific to you. Guides and articles describe the position as we understood it at the date shown and may not be updated.
3. No offer, and where our services are available
Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, financial product or service, in any jurisdiction in which such an offer or solicitation would be unlawful or to any person to whom it would be unlawful.
Our services are provided from Mauritius and South Africa under the licences stated above and are not available in every country. Intrasia Wealth is not authorised or regulated in the United Kingdom; references on the Site to the United Kingdom describe our relationship with Acacia Wealth Limited, an independent firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, which is responsible for any services it provides. The Site is not directed at persons in the United States or at any person in a jurisdiction where its publication or availability would breach local law. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that you may lawfully access the Site.
The Intrasia Group's offices in Singapore, Dubai and New York do not provide locally regulated investment advice or portfolio management. Pages describing the services of other Intrasia Group companies, such as Intrasia Management and start.mu, or of partner firms, are provided for information; those services are provided by the company concerned under its own terms and, where it needs one, its own licence, and Intrasia Wealth is not responsible for them.
4. Investment risk
The value of investments and the income from them can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you invested. Past performance is not a reliable guide to future performance. Exchange rate movements can affect the value of investments held in other currencies. Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and may change.
5. Calculators and the risk profile assessment
The calculators and risk profile assessment on the Site are educational tools. Their results are illustrations based on the figures and assumptions you enter and on simplifying assumptions built into the tool. They are not forecasts, guarantees or advice, and the risk profile assessment is not an assessment of suitability. A formal assessment is carried out with an adviser before any service is provided.
6. Accuracy and availability
We take reasonable care to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we give no warranty, express or implied, that its content is complete, accurate or current, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or harmful components. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site without notice. Opinions expressed are those of their authors at the date of publication and may change.
Figures attributed to third parties, such as index providers, central banks, tax authorities and regulators, are taken from the sources cited, as at the dates shown. Those sources remain responsible for their accuracy, and the position may have changed since.
7. Intellectual property
The Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos, tools and downloads, belong to Intrasia Wealth or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. You may view, download and print content for your own personal use or, if you are visiting on behalf of an organisation, for its internal consideration of our services, provided you do not alter it and you keep all notices intact. Any other use, including reproduction, republication or distribution, requires our prior written consent. "Intrasia" and the Intrasia Wealth logo may not be used without our permission.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Site in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server or any connected system or network, or probe, scan or test their vulnerability;
- introduce viruses or other harmful material, or interfere with the proper working of the Site or other users' access to it;
- use any automated means to extract content from the Site for commercial purposes without our written consent, other than by search engines and AI assistants that index, summarise or cite the Site in the ordinary course;
- forge headers or otherwise disguise the origin of anything you send through the Site;
- submit information through the Site that is false or that you have no right to provide.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. Unauthorised use may also be a criminal offence.
9. Links to other websites
The Site contains links to websites operated by others, including regulators, other companies in the Intrasia Group and partner firms. We provide them for convenience, do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement. You may link to the Site's pages provided you do so fairly and do not suggest any association or approval that does not exist.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud, dishonesty, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any duty we owe you under the financial services laws that apply to us, including the Financial Services Act 2007 and Securities Act 2005 in Mauritius and the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act 2002 in South Africa, or under a client agreement.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Intrasia Wealth, its directors, employees and affiliates are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or from reliance on its content, including loss of profit, loss of data and indirect or consequential loss, and including loss caused by viruses or by the failure, delay or interception of electronic communications.
11. Electronic communications
Messages sent through the Site or by ordinary email may not be secure and may be delayed or fail to arrive. Please do not use the Site's forms to send instructions to deal, identity or account documents, passwords, or sensitive information beyond what a form asks for. Sending us a message or a risk profile assessment does not create a client relationship.
12. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, including data you submit through the Site.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the Site or our services, please tell us. Our complaints procedure, and the external bodies you may approach if we cannot resolve the matter, are set out on the Regulation page.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms are effective from 25 September 2026. We may amend them from time to time by posting the revised version on this page with its effective date. The version in force when you use the Site applies to that use.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from your use of the Site, are governed by the laws of Mauritius, and the courts of Mauritius have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of any protection given by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you live, or of any right you may have to bring proceedings there, and it does not affect your right to refer a complaint to the FAIS Ombud, the Office of the Ombudsperson for Financial Services or a regulator.
16. General
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure by us to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. These terms do not give rights to any third party.
