About

How we write.

Every market review and guide on this site is written by a named member of our investment team, reviewed by compliance, dated, and updated when the facts change.

Standards

Named authors

Each piece carries the name of the person who wrote it, linking to a page listing everything they have published on Insights. Senior staff link on from there to their full profile, role and qualifications on the team page. A piece may also be signed by the investment team as a whole where no single analyst wrote it.

Categories

Every piece sits in one series, Monthly review, Quarterly review or Analysis, shown on the piece itself and browsable on its own page, so a reader can follow one series without the others.

Sources

Market data comes from exchanges, central banks, national statistics offices and index providers, and is cited in the text. We do not publish figures we cannot source. The site will not publish a new piece that carries no source citation at all.

Review

Guides that touch regulation or tax are reviewed by the Head of Legal and Compliance before publication and at least annually. Market reviews are checked by a second member of the investment team. Every reviewed piece shows who reviewed it and the date they did.

Dates

Every piece shows the date it was published, the date it was reviewed, and the date it was last updated if that differs. When a material fact changes, we update the piece and note the change.

What we do not do

We do not publish personal recommendations, performance claims we cannot evidence, or content written to sell a specific product. Nothing on this site is a personal recommendation; see the disclaimer in the footer.
